USA Basketball Coming to Las Vegas!
Las Vegas, NV -- Las Vegas has been picked by the USA Basketball Team to be the host city for several major events in the upcoming years. The first of such events will be the State Farm USA Basketball Challenge set for July 22, 2007 at the Thomas Mack Arena.
The State Farm Challenge will be an inter-squad game from last year's roster plus several players who could not play last summer such as: Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Greg Oden. Tip-off for the game begins at 4:00 PM PST and tickets to this event are still available. This exhibition will also be a competition to finalize the roster for the FIBA Americas Championship to be held Aug. 22 - Sept. 2, also at the Thomas Mack Arena in Las Vegas.
